art community space

Storefront of 302 N. Bullard, built in 1800's it is adorned with tin decoration on the facade and has large old store front windows

MERGE art and community space is an informal institution located in a historic storefront.  MERGE aims to function as a venue for art and cultural projects.

We are interested in collaborating with artists and creatives of every type to produce non-commercial and commercial projects and foster new ideas for creative engagement. We believe in creating a sustainable, diverse and uplifting community together.

This space stems from an interest to create an informal  place in which people can merge, combining various aspects of the Silver City community and visual arts.  This may include art installations, social practice, readings, talks, gatherings, experimental works and whatever else you may imagine doing within an art-centered space.

Contact MERGE with ideas for collaborations and concepts; of special interest are ideas focused on the environment, partnerships with local organizations, and bringing to light unique aspects of this community and surrounding lands.
